Hampshire County Council has issued an emergency notice for the temporary closure of part of Curdridge Footpath 5.

The closure has been put in place because the boardwalk along this section of the footpath has been deemed unsafe and could pose a danger to members of the public.

The closure came into effect from 17 September 2026 for an initial period of 21 days. An order will then be made to allow the closure to remain in place for up to six months, or until the path is considered safe, whichever is sooner. There is currently no alternative route available.
