Hampshire County Council has confirmed a change to the schedule for installing the temporary mini-roundabout.

During early excavation, unmapped utility pipes were found, meaning changes to the highway drainage design are needed before the roundabout can be put in.

Revised timetable:

Mon 8 – Fri 12 Sept: Overnight works with three-way temporary traffic lights, 8pm–6am
Mon 15 – Fri 19 Sept: Overnight works with three-way temporary traffic lights, 8pm–6am
From week commencing 22 Sept: Overnight works to install the temporary mini-roundabout, again under three-way temporary lights, 8pm–6am

The exact date the roundabout will open will be confirmed nearer the time, with updates via signage on site and on the Botley Bypass webpage.
